This is another from Sunday afternoon. Things started to happen as soon as I got there and didn’t even have time to set up my tripod. Thankful for last few wintery storms.
What an evening this was. I watched this sunset develop and cast those rays across the sky. There was even a small rainbow and then a full moon rose behind me. Still lots of shots to go through tonight.
This is a spot I visit often. It has a great view of the bridge from a raw environment. Depending on the tide, it’s possible to venture all the way to beneath the bridge tower. This time I couldn’t wait long enough for the bridge to illuminate as the tide was chasing me off the beach.
Mornings after winter storms are always a treat down here. Big, fast moving clouds fill the sky and dwarfs the bridge.
I’ve made several trips to this spot and always get something interesting. This particular day was no different. I had noticed that the side window shades were up and created the wonderful effect of the sun peeking through.
